As Controller at Volume Nine, Heather keeps things moving behind the scenes! Whether leveraging her previous experience with V9 on the Finance Team, her experience at the University of Alabama as a Contracts & Grants Accounting Specialist, her time in the Air Force as a Munitions Systems Specialist, or taking flying lessons during high school, she is a jill of all trades.
Although Heather is from a small town in the South, she has lived in Texas, Florida, Colorado, Arkansas and is now back in her home state of Alabama. If you talk to Heather for very long, her love for her family is quickly apparent. Heather and her husband, Matt, have a fantastic daughter that graduated from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and now works as an aerospace engineer in Fort Worth, Texas.
Heather loves to read, travel, and spend time on the water. She is also a passionate fan of the University of Alabama football team. You will find her wearing her jersey, watching every game of the season, and cheering them on!
Of all the things Heather loves about Volume Nine, the culture and people make the most impact. “It is sometimes a rarity to have a company that actually cares about their employees, and in all my adventures in job land, V9 is absolutely the best at that.” And we agree!
