As a Digital Marketing Strategist at Volume Nine, Xavier is responsible for communicating with clients, creating personalized strategies, and planning campaigns that support their brand goals.
Xavier loves working with clients to help them better understand digital marketing as a whole and the power of the inbound marketing methodology. Prior to joining V9, Xavier ran his own marketing services business — from Hawaii of all places. In that role, he got to support clients with his marketing expertise in search engine and conversion rate optimization, website design and adopting the inbound marketing methodology, as well as pass on strategies and tactics to those who wanted to build and expand their brands. Since 2014, he’s been creating and implementing digital marketing strategies that help companies get the results they want.
His college internship at an early-stage technology startup is where Xavier got his start in digital marketing. He fell in love with how quickly the digital marketing landscape constantly evolved and the plethora of data that was available to drive decisions. Part of what he loves most about digital marketing is that it offers a daily challenge — there’s always something new to do and learn.
Just for Fun
As a result of living in 8 different states, Xavier is very good at adapting to his environment and connecting with all different types of people. He reports that, while Hawaii had by far the best weather of anywhere he has lived, he loves the weather and activities that Colorado offers. When he’s not working, you might find him reading 2-3 books at a time, watching basketball, going on hikes (weather permitting), taking photos, and cooking and baking new recipes on occasion.
As an ex-college athlete and son of a college basketball coach, Xavier has seen a game in nearly every state, played in some of the most premier arenas (including Madison Square Garden!), and attended every Final Four game from ages 5 to 18. Not too shabby, right?
