Rachel, as a Digital Marketing Strategist at V9, works to bring brand awareness and results to our clients through integrated marketing campaigns, with a focus on social media and content marketing. When she joined the Volume Nine team she became an integral part of creating social media strategies that give our clients an edge in a competitive landscape. Her favorite part about working at Volume Nine is the people, and she says she’s truly happy to come to the office (no, we didn’t pay her to say that).
Before coming to V9, Rachel sharpened her social media skills at in-house companies and agencies of all shapes and sizes. Throughout her career, she has applied her social media prowess to brands across a spectrum of industries, including dining, hospitality and lifestyle brands, retail, consumer goods, higher education, and even custom software.
When Rachel is not at work, she likes to spend her time hiking, cooking, watching Netflix, and exploring her new home in Denver. She’s also teaching herself ASL (American Sign Language) and plans to start learning guitar. She has an adorable (and chunky) cat named Miranda, who she adopted from the Denver Cat Cafe. And no, she did not name her after Miranda Ryder.
What was your first job?
My first job was working at Justice (formally known as Limited Too.) I spent a LOT of time surrounded by glitter and neon.
If you were to create a slogan for your life, what would the slogan be?
Sometimes mild, sometimes wild
What’s the best book you’ve read so far this year?
The Library Book by Susan Orlean – An incredibly interesting read chronicling the 1986 fire in the Los Angeles Central Library, and the significant part that libraries play in our communities.
