Maddie, a Digital Marketing Strategist at Volume Nine, works to create and deliver programs that support growth for our clients. Maddie also brings 5 years of previous agency experience to her role at V9, and she loves strategizing to find creative solutions to clients’ marketing problems.
Her expertise in SEO and content strategies, as well as big-picture thinking, allow us all to think outside the box and create strategies that stand out. Maddie also supports clients with paid and organic social, and is a bit of analytics nerd. You can also find Maddie executing on her SEO and content strategies with technical SEO updates, content production, and even helping with site launches.
She also loves client research: she reads every word on their website, works to understand their product, and even talks to sales and production teams and scouts out competitors. We have so many tools to help us read and measure, but sometimes the best tool is good ol’ homework — and Maddie loves her homework. Creativity and learning new skills across the marketing and design/development world are two of her favorite parts about working in this industry.
Did we mention she loves data and analytics?!
Just for Fun
Before entering the marketing world, Maddie graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication and minors in Business and Biology. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Maddie has also lived in Columbus, OH before moving to Colorado.
When she’s not crafting digital strategies, you can probably find Maddie hiking, climbing, camping, backpacking, or enjoying a sporting event with a cold brew. She loves photographing and painting, as well as getting good use out of her library card. She almost always has a pie or cookies in the oven, which makes her a great asset to the team. Maddie’s also trying very hard to keep all her plants alive. We’re sad to report it’s not going well.
What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Outside! It doesn’t matter where or how, as long as the air is fresh and there is an adventure to be had.
What is your best recipe?
I make a really good spiced peach pie. It pairs perfectly with strawberry ice cream.
Favorite family tradition?
Every year at Easter, we have a butter lamb at dinner. It’s a Buffalo tradition. It’s just some butter in the shape of a baby lamb — the eldest cousin gets to chop the head off.
